WE ALL HAVE A STORY
Here's my story...
​
Though there were good things in my youth, actually many. I was popular, had friends and did well in school. But I grew up in a highly dysfunctional alcoholic home and was brought to bars more than I was brought to church. Over time, the bad became seriously bad and outweighed the good. I did not want to live and considered my life too messed up to help. I thought, I should take my life.
I didn't know then a mess could become a message for Christ. I now live a successful life, love God, and though my life isn't perfect, I live so much better! But I remember the sorrow, the pain and the hopelessness I once lived with that almost destroyed me. I look back now and see by His amazing grace, God took me on a journey from hopelessness to hope.

Years ago, lounging at a swimming pool, the Lord put it in my heart to be a speaker for Him and share with others my redemption story. I responded, "Lord, I can't talk about my life." I really felt it was too bad, too ugly a life story to talk about with others. It was sad and even embarassing, the painful parts.
But here I am today, a renewed and redeemed woman, a speaker, teacher and author. I previously opened a window for others to see my life in my youth and my prodigal years. Now, through my new book, I open more than a window to my life, I swung open the front door and said, "Come in." And when you step in, you will see it's not a pretty story. But because of a loving Savior, my story ends beautifully.
In other words, BUT GOD!

And that's the goal of my book, that you will see for yourself what the Lord has done, and what God taught me along the journey of choosing to live a better life. There's hope for your prodigals and hope for all to live better. I know. I lived it. I am "The Girl Who Learned to Live Life Better."
